Indian Summer

„More appearance than reality.“ applies to the fashion and textile industry in many ways. Human rights are disregarded, the environment is polluted and the concept of „fast fashion“ is a constant sensory overload.

The slow fashion collection „indian summer“ shows that fashion design can be sustainable. Sustainability meets intercultural streetwear inspired by the designer’s Indian roots. Timeless designs, selected materials and fair production complete the concept.

The sustainable collection „indian summer“ was created as a final project at the „Private Fashion School Albstadt“.

The collection was presented at the Fair Fashion Festival 2016 in Groningen (Netherlands).

„Streetwear meets high-quality chic, natural fabrics and detail-loving patterns.“
